چکیده

CX3CL1 secreted in the tumor microenvironment serves as a chemoattractant playing critical role metastasis of CX3CR1 expressing cancer cells. can be expressed both and immune-inhibitory myeloid cells to facilitate their migration. We generated novel monoclonal antibody against mouse that binds blocks CX3CL1-CX3CR1 interaction. next explored immune evasion strategies implemented by axis find it initiates resistance program results 1) facilitation cell migration, 2) secretion soluble mediators generate pro-metastatic niche, 3) attract populations, 4) generation tumor-inflammasome. The reduces migration decreases suppressive In combination with anti-PD-1 immunotherapy, this enhances survival an immunocompetent colon carcinoma model through decrease tumor-promoting populations. Thus, is involved mechanisms immunotherapy therapy overcome portion anti-PD-1.

CX3CL1/CX3CR1 and CCL2/CCR2 Chemokine/Chemokine Receptor Complex in Patients with AMD

PURPOSE The chemokine receptors CX3CR1 and CCR2 have been implicated in the development of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The evidence is mainly derived from experimental cell studies and murine models of AMD. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between expression of CX3CR1 and CCR2 on different leukocyte subsets and AMD. Furthermore we measured the plasma leve...

Fractalkine (CX3CL1) and Its Receptor CX3CR1 May Contribute to Increased Angiogenesis in Diabetic Placenta

Chemokine CX3CL1 is unique, possessing the ability to act as a dual agent: chemoattractant and adhesive compound. Acting via its sole receptor CX3CR1, CX3CL1 participates in many processes in human placental tissue, including inflammation and angiogenesis. Strongly upregulated by hypoxia and/or inflammation-induced inflammatory cytokines secretion, CX3CL1 may act locally as a key angiogenic fac...

Modulating neurotoxicity through CX3CL1/CX3CR1 signaling

Since the initial cloning of fractalkine/CX3CL1, it was proposed that the only known member of the CX3C or δ subfamily of chemotactic cytokines could play some significant role in the nervous system, due to its high expression on neurons. The pivotal description of the localization of the unique CX3CL1 receptor, CX3CR1, on microglial cells, firmed up by the generation of cx3cr1(GFP/GFP) mice, o...

Ccl2, Cx3cr1 and Ccl2/Cx3cr1 chemokine deficiencies are not sufficient to cause age-related retinal degeneration

Monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells and microglia play critical roles in the local immune response to acute and chronic tissue injury and have been implicated in the pathogenesis of age-related macular degeneration. Defects in Ccl2-Ccr2 and Cx3cl1-Cx3cr1 chemokine signalling cause enhanced accumulation of bloated subretinal microglia/macrophages in senescent mice and this phenomenon is repo...
